The SOOCed model believes strongly in a learning partnership between schools, students, and parents. We believe all stakeholders – the teacher, the student, and the parents – join together as a three-member team that works collaboratively in the education of young people to promote and improve student ability to be safe, savvy and ethical online.
Each course can run independently but for the full benefit of the program to come to the fore students, their parents and teachers should all start their course together. The theme of every learning module is the same but the content is designed for each specific user group
Participating schools will have the four courses of the program installed on their own school server (or optional external secure server) to ensure participant data security. The program, once installed, is designed to be easily managed by school staff with little or no IT support.
